When you fill in the quote request form, we collect what you enter: name, telephone, email, project area, type of customer, product, quantity, installation need and free-text message.

We use it only to answer your request, prepare a quote and contact you about it. It is not sold, passed on or used for advertising.

If you write to us by email, phone or WhatsApp, we use the contact details you give us to reply.

Processing is based on steps taken at your request before a contract (preparing a quote) and, for following up your request, on our legitimate interest in replying to people who contact us.

The data is intended for 4J BAT ELEC. The technical providers that host the site (Hetzner Online GmbH, Germany) and deliver email messages act on our behalf and may not use the data for themselves.

A quote request that does not lead to anything is kept for one year. If it leads to a job or an order, the data is kept for the duration of the business relationship and then for the legal retention periods that apply (accounting rules and warranties).

The site is hosted in Germany. No data is knowingly sent outside the European Union.

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict and object to the processing of your data, and to give instructions about it after your death. To exercise them, write to bat.elec@hotmail.com; we reply within one month.

If, after contacting us, you believe your rights are not being respected, you can lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority: www.cnil.fr, 3 place de Fontenoy, TSA 80715, 75334 Paris Cedex 07.

The site is served over HTTPS. Access to the requests received is limited to the people in the company who need it.
